  1. Hi Folks,

I watched "Joe's Veggie Plot" on the ABC Gardening Austalia site: http://www.abc.net.au/gardening/video/video_index_September2008.htm

He was allocated a plot in a Community Garden in Melbourne of 30 square meters (5x6M). He only dedicated 2 hours to week to planting and maintaining it. I decided to measure the veggie garden area that I used to work at home (and considered a bit small) and it was 18 square meters. I realise that with communal areas we won't need to take up valuable space with herbs and that sort of thing, but am beginning to think we might be a bit short on space for keen veggie gardeners. Just a thought...

  2. Watched Costas garden odyssey last night and they had a great idea for selling herb and vege seedlings in those polystyrene boxes from the fruit shop. Maybe a funding idea down the track
